You *may* have to go into connections to get it to look for a bluetooth device. If all is connected and paired then open up PCMScan software and hopefully it should connect up to ELM327 and start reading data etc.

You *might* need a bluetooth ELM327 driver installed on laptop. You then should have the laptop connected and paired with the ELM through bluetooth. Laptop should find ELM and try and connect and pair. With laptop/PC close to ELM search for bluetooth devices. Turn on ignition so ELM is getting power. You may have to set it up to receive data via bluetooth but should do it automatically. You will need a laptop/PC with bluetooth on it. I don't want to mess up my car, so are there any instruction i can follow?Īlso can you recommend any other software for the laptop/pc?
